The Abbot Kinney Festival, now in its 32nd year, takes place along a mile-long stretch of the world-famous Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, California, arguably the “coolest block in America”.

The Boulevard’s eclectic boutiques, artisan eateries and influential art galleries infuse the festival with a local flavor that makes this event unique and not to be missed. 

Join us on the last Sunday in September for a day of fun, food and entertainment while you soak in the convivial spirit of the sunny beach-side community of Venice!

ABBOT KINNEY FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 32 YEARS OF GIVING BACK

Indie Music, 300 Artisans Vendors, Great Food & Drink, KidsQuad, 120,000 Attendees Venice, California: he annual Abbot Kinney Festival returns for its 32nd year on Sunday, September 25, 2016, from 10am to 6pm, toasting to the best of world­famous Abbot Kinney Boulevard. “We are thrilled to make this year’s festival better than ever, because it’s never been a more exciting time to be on Abbot Kinney,” said Abbot Kinney Festival Association (AKFA) Chair, Donna Humphrey. “Since its inception, the Abbot Kinney Festival has represented the incredible solidarity within this colorful neighborhood—and, each year, we show our appreciation by reinvesting all proceeds back into the Venice community.” Stretching a mile­long, this year’s festival will include food trucks, beer and spirit gardens, live music, handcrafted goods meet the eclectic brick­and­mortar boutiques, renowned restaurants and art galleries that make Abbot Kinney a singularly unmatched destination. The musical components of the festival include four stages; The Brig All Vinyl stage, Andalusia Local stage, Broadway Indie Artists and KidsQuad Family Stage, as well as the Silent Disco/Spritzr Love Lounge powered by HUSH. In addition to the KidsQuad Family stage, the outdoor expansive family area will have pony rides, a mega slide, ferris wheel, rock climbing, arts & crafts and so much more! The festival is a fundraiser for the Abbot Kinney Festival Association, a 501(c)(3), grant making organization, that supports community­based organizations in Venice with an emphasis on youth, community, and the arts. Past organizations we’ve issued grants to include: Venice Symphony Orchestra, Children’s Lifesaving Foundation, LAPD Pacific Area Boosters, Boys and Girls Club of Venice, Friends of Westminster Elementary, Friends of Walgrove Elementary, Venice Arts, 826LA, reDiscover Science Center, The Learning Garden, STEMM Small Learning Center, Friends of Coeur d'Alene, Venice High School Robotics Club, Venice Arts Council, SPARC, A Window Between Worlds, Electric Lodge, Beyond Baroque, Venice Historical Society, Venice Community Garden, Venice Oceanarium, Venice Skateboard Association, and others.
