As designers and artists we tend to get asked a lot of the same questions throughout our days. Some of these questions can be annoying or too personal and others may just be the funniest thing we've heard in a while. Foxtales will be going over some of these and other topics that have been on our mind lately in the next few blog posts. Why can't you buy runway clothes when they come down the runway?
Runway clothes are samples and require production lead times. We agree this is totally mean! Today we are an instant gratification society and with Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter etc. showing runway shows six months before it is available, it almost seems like a tease. For as long as we can remember, the cycle seems the same. Designs come down the runway, stores place their orders for the next season and we as designers then put the orders into production. Good news, the industry is changing! Many of the big designers are going to a "buy now, wear now" model. So some of the collection will be ready to order and take home or have delivered in your hot little hands when you see it! Foxbait is happy to announce that we will have several pre-fall pieces available for "buy now, wear now" in late summer. We hope to be on the forefront of the trend and look forward to move with the times!
SS 16 Boat Shoot Fun!
There were so many great moments during our SS 16 boat shoot and so many amazing photos from the whole day. In fact, we have so many great photos that we will be compiling an image gallery for Foxtales where you will be able to see all the photo shoot fun. Here is a little video clip of our final shots of the day, as well as a slideshow of the jump! Thanks to Franzi and Jourdan for being such great models/sports and jumping off the boat into that cold water. Franzi is wearing our reversible cross hatch dress available for purchase now.
